hello, i'm cyril.

i build containers: companies, communities, rooms, systems. anything that has to hold people and work at the same time.

the current container is conscious engines, an AI research lab where i'm the first employee. i'm the reason the researchers never have to think about anything else: legal entities on two continents, payroll, compliance audits, government liaisoning, and the office, which i took from bareshell to finished.

before this, devfolio: operations and marketing, including a hackathon on a moving train. before that, two years at hopstack, implementing enterprise software for warehouses in the US and cutting their onboarding from twelve weeks to four.

almost none of this was in a job description when i started. that's sort of the point: i'm spending my twenties working every discipline i can and making my mistakes early, so the thing i eventually build is my own.

the rest of the time: whiskey, hip-hop, and one motorcycle. writing is where i think out loud. if you're in bangalore, say hi. i'll buy the coffee and pick the place.
